MINISTRIES

  • Children + Youth Ministries

    There are many ways to play a part in discipling the young people in our church! Volunteer to assist in Sunday School, Kid’s Praise, Vacation Bible School, and monthly outings.

  • Daughters of the Holy Cross

    Laywomen who have taken vows as Daughters to participate in the spread of Christ's Kingdom through prayer, study, service, and evangelism. For more information, visit the Daughters of the Holy Cross website.

  • Missions + Outreach Committee

    Plans, implements, coordinates, and administers projects that seek to build the Kingdom of God in our community and beyond.

  • Prayer Chain

    A ministry which includes Daughters of the Holy Cross and other members of the congregation who respond to prayer requests with dedicated prayer support while maintaining confidentiality. Those wishing to join this ministry must receive the Rector's approval.

  • Prayer Group

    Anyone is welcome to come to our Prayer Group that meets Wednesday mornings at Redeemer.

Service Opportunities

  • Acolyting + Chalice Bearing

    Acolytes assist clergy in worship services as crucifer, lighting candles, and preparing the communion table. Chalice Bearers help the clergy administer communion.

  • Altar + Flower Guild

    Planning and providing altar flowers for each service, preparing credence and communion tables, and cleaning up the altar after Sunday services.

  • Congregational Care + Bereavement Support

    Identifying and caring for the needs of parishioners, especially those who are in the hospital, recovering from illness, welcoming a new baby, mourning a loved one, or are home bound. Following up with those not present at worship services with cards and phone calls, and provide just about any help one might need.

  • Congregational Life

    Planning and coordinating parish events including Coffee & Conversation, picnics, fellowship meals, and small groups.

  • Greeters

    Greeters welcome everyone as they arrive for worship services, with a special focus on visitors by gifting them a Redeemer coffee mug and keeping in touch with them after their visit.

  • Lay Intercession + Lay Reading

    Leading the congregation in corporate prayer and corporate Scripture reading during worship services.

  • Maestros

    Leading the congregation in singing songs of praise with instrumental accompaniment.

  • Nursery Volunteers

    Assisting our nursery staff in caring for our children ages 4 and under during the 10:30 a.m. service.

  • Ushers

    Distributing worship bulletins, collecting tithes and offerings, and addressing any needs that may arise during a worship service.
