We are a church in the Anglican tradition believing the unchanging truth about God and ourselves as it is revealed in Scripture. We practice rich, beautiful liturgical worship and we receive the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ through biblical preaching, sacraments, and outreach in Chattanooga, Hixson, Ooltewah, Northern Georgia, and beyond.
At Redeemer everyone is welcomed, no matter your past life experiences, age, race, or how you dress. Whether you have followed Jesus your entire life or are just asking questions about God and religion, all are welcome to come see what we are all about.
We have two Sunday worship services. Our first service begins at 8:30 AM, with our second service beginning at 10:30 AM followed by coffee and conversation. We’re looking forward to meeting you. Come visit this Sunday!
We also provide an intimate mid-week communion service on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 AM. Our group often shares breakfast together after the service.
You’ll find a great deal of information about Redeemer on this site ranging from what we believe to how we worship during our services. Please look around and if we can answer any questions for you please feel free to contact us.
The Anglican Church began as the state church of England. During the 16th century the church took on the theology of the Reformation, reclaiming the ancient truths of the Bible and salvation by grace through faith.
Our worship follows the pattern of how Christians worshiped for centuries. We call this “liturgy” which literally means “the work of the people.” Worship is supposed to be active, and so everybody participates in the liturgy through singing, prayers, listening to God’s Word, repentance, and receiving Communion.
